Drop-in replacement for the factory Ruger 10/22 charging handle — machined from aircraft-grade 6061 billet aluminum and black anodized for a lasting finish.

The extended knob gives you more surface area to grip, so you can rack the bolt smoothly whether you're wearing gloves, shooting in the cold, or running a scope that crowds the handle. Install takes under 5 minutes with no gunsmithing required. Compatible with all standard Ruger 10/22 and Charger models.

  • Fits: All standard Ruger 10/22 and Charger models
  • CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum — lighter and stronger than factory
  • Black hard anodized finish — corrosion resistant, won't flake or chip
  • 5-minute drop-in installation, no gunsmithing required
  • Machined in the USA

I just installed it and already broke the handle off. It caused major binding with the bolt. Worked feeling before installing the trigger pack. Liberally greased it as suggested on YouTube. Installed it to the trigger pack. And put it all together. It wouldn’t budge. Removed it. Uninstalled it to make sure there wasn’t any binding. Reinstalled it and moved freely before putting the trigger pack back in. I even checked the extractor to be sure. And everything looked good. Reinstalled everything. I went to charge it. And it was bound right up. I wacked it with a a small rubber hammer. And sent the charging handle flying. Removed it. Reinstalled the original charging handle and it worked fine.

Replacement of the Ruger charging handle took less than 5 minutes. Today went to the range and ran about 150 rounds through the 10/22 using the new Ext. Charging Handle. Makes the 10/22 feel like a "military gun", makes charging much easier on my old-man fingers.

Unfortunately it didn't work in my rifle. It caused binding somewhere that didn't allow the bolt to slide. It would get stuck pulled back and wouldn't return to battery.
